The hunt for a new "haggis"

Burns for Bairns

Bogbain farm is hosting its annual Burns for Bairns on Sunday 24th January. The family focused event will start at 1pm with the piping of the Haggis followed by poems, speeches and songs.
“Last year was a great success,” explained Bogbain catering manager Louie Andreas, “so we’re sticking with a winning formula! The only additional thing we’re doing this year is launching a competition for children under the age of 12 for a new ode to the Haggis. We want to see what folk come up with using our own local accents and language. We’re looking for something that has the passion and humour of Burns but with a Highland twang!”

Competition entries can be e-mailed to info@bogbainfarm.com or sent by mail to Bogbain farm, Inshes, Inverness, IV2 5BD.
The winner will be announced on the day with a full family membership for the adventure farm as first prize.

After the meal the monthly music session with Bruce Macgregor will kick off.
